today was extremely special for me because i got to hang out with eddie codel, producer extraordinaire of geekentertainment.tv and just an extremely awesome and fun dude, and eric rice, self-made rockstar and co-founder of Hipcast. that is seriously the abridged version of what those two do, but if you want more go study their blogs, eddie’s and eric’s, and become a fan. you should already be anyway.
we went to barney’s beanery where eddie discovered that marinara sauce tastes just fine with a splash of coffee in it. then off to the rockstar hotel where they’re staying where i did my first-ever video podcast interview for GETV!! (note: i hate bold text but it had to be done.) i was awful and everyone knew it, but they were so cool about it and if they had 1/10th the fun i did then it was a great day all around.
soon this——> will be my friend. for now i shall practice interviewing all my friends, roommates and coworkers with pens, hairbrushes and chopsticks.
thanks again to eddie, who made this awesome day possible and to eric for humoring me and participating.
love, the stylegoddess. xo
erica– you are TOO kind. it was great connecting with you and i look forward to many great moments of getv action from the OC and greater LA area. it was a bit hectic with all of us videoblogger geeks converging but i think you got a taste of what the madness can be like.
yes, marinara and nostril delivered coffee never tasted so good. i’ll be sure to sneeze some into my spaghetti in the future for that added bit of zest.
btw, I met daniel tonight! he’s gonna be good if you can rope him down. sounds like he’s got a busy life.
it WAS great. soon i will be a girl sans annoying on-screen habits. and one day maybe even a girl who can keep her coffee in her mouth. the future is full of hope.
ps: daniel IS so getting roped into doing an interview. he’s going down. to chinatown.
to see how this looked in groovy magazine pullquotes
and i freaking like it…
annoying on-screen habits are the fodder for my job!
that’s comforting actually. 🙂
erica/stylegoddess:
hey, i need your technical expertise. I see that you use WP 3k2 theme and i am wondering how you get categories to appear on the right hand sidebar. i’m sure it is simple but i can’t figure it out.
just email me if you get a chance. thanks. you do cool stuff.
terry
thanks for the props, terry. and now that you have your sidebar widgets to play with you should be just fine. 🙂
