John Lennon
“John Lennon”
One of 8 in my new series of paintings of artists/musicians who died before their time. There’s something so tragic and pointless, not to mention mysterious, about the point-blank execution-style murder of a musician that everyone loved, who was kind and inspiring, and whose words and music soothed millions for so many years. It’s just weird. If you’re in NYC, make sure to stop by Strawberry Fields and pay your respects. Feel free to bring candles, flowers, whatever.
16″ x 36″ mixed media on canvas.
